If you want to be a real estate investor and generate monthly cash flow but don’t want to deal with tenants, toilets and trash, raw land investing might be just the solution! In today’s podcast, veteran, real estate investor, coach and raw land investing expert Brent Bowers shares how he went from a struggling Army officer to land baron, all with raw land.
Brent Bowers is an investor and coach with a focus on buying and selling vacant land. As an Army Officer with over 8 years of service, Brent was spending a great deal of time away from his family. He knew he needed to make some serious changes in order to be more present with his wife and children. Brent began investing in real estate as a way to support his family, while having more time to spend with them. In a short period of time, Brent was able to expand his business, hire a team, and (most importantly) spend quality time with his family while still working hard and helping others. Brent now helps other investors learn the ins and outs of buying land.

Bill, I listen to all your podcast. I love them. This one I have thought about many times. Even went and got a list of tax delinquent land owner but I never followed through. I am an Old Dawg at 69. Started late at this. I have now 41 units. They range from land contracts, rentals and flips. I love doing it. I worry a little about leverage of my funds. At 69 I am concerned with leaving debt with my wife. Don’t expect to died but I am on the back side. My wife is a Dentist and doesn’t care the lease bit about my investments. I have told her to just sell it all when my time comes but I want to have her a good equity when she does. I was going to start a local investment group just when covid hit. I had about 10 interested individuals and had a line up of speakers and topics. Hope to start soon. I have given so many you and bigger pocket’s podcast info. At the present I am grossing about 36K monthly and hope to work up to 50k and have this to be profit by doing some flips to pay off my loans.
Dewayne, It sounds like you are doing great! Keep up the good work. It sounds like you have a good strategy to pay down your debt with flips. Thant’s smart, too! God bless, Bill
