Brian Murray acquired his first investment property in 2007. Without raising any outside capital, Brian bootstrapped his way from newbie investor to founder and CEO of Washington Street Properties, a commercial real estate investment and property management company that has been ranked on the Inc. 500|5000 list of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies for five years in a row. In 2015, Brian Murray was recognized with a Gold Stevie Award for Executive of the Year in the Real Estate Industry.
Brian Murray is author of the bestselling and award-winning book Crushing It in Apartments and Commercial Real Estate, which sold more than 20,000 copies in its first year of publication and garnered positive reviews from Publishers Weekly, Foreword Reviews, and BlueInk Review. The book was chosen as the Gold Award Winner at the 2018 Robert Bruss Real Estate Book Awards.
